NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
530 AM EDT THU SEP 4 2003

FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON HURRICANE
FABIAN...LOCATED ABOUT 570 MILES SOUTH OF BERMUDA...AND ON TROPICAL
DEPRESSION TWELVE LOCATED ABOUT 190 MILES SOUTHWEST OF APALACHICOLA
FLORIDA.

AN AREA OF DISTURBED WEATHER...ASSOCIATED WITH A TROPICAL WAVE...
IS LOCATED ABOUT 250 MILES SOUTHWEST OF THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS.
THERE HAS BEEN SOME INCREASE IN SHOWER ACTIVITY IN THE AREA AND THIS
SYSTEM HAS THE POTENTIAL FOR SLOW DEVELOPMENT AS IT MOVES WESTWARD
OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.

A TROPICAL WAVE LOCATED ABOUT 800 MILES WEST-SOUTHWEST OF THE CAPE
VERDE ISLANDS SHOWS NO SIGNS OF DEVELOPMENT.
