East of Bermuda

#1 Postby Andrew92 » Sun Jul 15, 2012 2:01 pm

I know it's probably not going to be a threat to any land areas, but what is this a bit east of Bermuda? Looking on visible satellite loops, it appears to be trying to form some kind of a circulation. Infrared pictures also show some pretty decent thunderstorms in this system. Could there be something maybe trying to develop out there?

Just a mid level disturbance, nothing but a weak trough at the surface. It has no model support for development.

OK, thanks! I've been looking at it for a while and noticed it looked like it could have gone for trying to get organized under the radar. It also doesn't look as impressive now as it did when I first posed the question.
