Getting better organized?

#1 Postby The_Cycloman_PR » Thu Sep 04, 2003 9:36 am

This tropical wave appear to be getting organized and it's convection has increased a lot. Also there's some rotation and a band to the southwest. Am I right or it's just me?

Is there any information, model runs etc. you can give me to have a better idea about the future of this wave?

Any coments from the experts would be very useful, thanks.

Cycloman - this sytem DEFINTELY looks like it is getting its act together. I will be very surprised if it is not TD 13 within the next day.

I am no expert in the tropics, just an avid tropics watcher. And looking at the satellite shots, this storm does seem to be on the verge of being a TD.

Hey Cycloman yes it is slowly organizing and if that trend continues we may see TD#13 tommorow.About the models the tropical ones haved not donr runs waiting for it to organize and move west but I expect that this afternoon they will update.

Sure Looks That Way...

Even if it develops though...it sure doesn't look to make it across right now. But...the ocean is large and there are a lot of unknowns.

We are good friends. He's part of a hurricane enthusiast group called Puertorican cyclonic and historical society that I am president of.

Here's a link of our last meeting.

WOW!! Certainly looks like it is getting it's act together. Is that the same wave the models are hinting to develop?
