Gulf buoy reports GUST to hurricane force!

Sustained winds of 52 mph... Hmmm.... tropical models initialized at 45 kts at 1800 UTC.

Intense thunderstorm complex associated with the new burst of activity wrapping around Henri ... Let's look to see if that trend holds or another temporary burst of activity ...
