Yes msbee John Toohey is a very good met indeed as he does the forecasts for UNIVISION in Miami and WOSO.So why those mets in ST Marteen are laughable?

well, first of all, the main met officer is vey hard to understand..he mumbles his words
honestly!
they always are late to issues advisories also. nothing will be mentioned to us until maybe in the papers on Monday. if there is need be for a hurricane watch to be issued , that deciion gets made in Curacao where our federal government sits and they have no idea about what's going on up here.
and they don't work on weekends, I don't think!
the current forecast was posted this morning
it's sort of a typical standard report. It won't be updated until Monday.

To be fair, they do, like other met offices, get their information from NHC , so it's not like we aren't informed.
To offer a detailed regional analysis though would probably not happen.
so keep posting those PR reports for me
