QUESTION ABOUT LOG-IN......

#1 Postby dixiebreeze » Sat Sep 06, 2003 5:43 pm

ALL DAY TODAY I'VE HAD TO RE-LOG IN EVEN THOUGH I'VE CHECKED "REMEMBER" BOX. WHAT'S UP?

Dixiebreeze - you must go to your IE temp file and delete the cookies for http://www.storm2k.org in there and your cookies file. This happens from time and time and you just have to delete them in those two places then log back on and check the remember box and it will work again. Let me know if it doesn't work.

Thanks,
Patricia aka Ticka1

Also, if you do a logout (option above) before exiting, you'll have to enter your username and password again when you return.

100% correct.. If you hit Log out, it dosent matter if you have th remember box checked..

If your not hitting log out, then do exactly what ticka said.. Dump your cookies and temp internet files, by going to Tools on your IE bar, then internet options, and dump cookies and temps

Thanks everyone. It's odd, though, because it's only happened today.

It happens from time to time... since you have been a member, ticka... it has happened today so far for you.
