Hurricane History Question

#1 Postby BEER980 » Sat Sep 06, 2003 8:27 pm

I have looked back thrugh storm histories and can't find this storm. Someone has told me that a storm formed in GOM, hit south FL the came back across central FL into the GOM and then struck the panhandle into GA. I have gone back to 1900 and don't see anything. Any ideas of a storm that has done this?

The only one I could think of was this one:

The "Easy" hurricane of 1950

Thanks for the reply but I tried that one. I really thought it was Gordon 1994 but they insist on 3 FL hits. Maybe they are mistaken.
