I would have though that if Henri makes a serious comeback (as Fabian is now doing - notice the T-numbers up?) then Henri should support strong troughing to lift Isabel AWAY from the US east coast .... or have I got it backwards???

HELP!!!! Where are the experts?

That is a bold post - but i really just wanted to rib chadtm80 about his Miami Dolphins' loss today to the Texans. Maybe Henri opened the end zone for Houston? LOL

I think Henri is moving slowly northeast. Any comeback is looking very slow on my watch. It might still not be a tropical storm and if so, it's very weak. Looks more puny to me. It's the canadian high pressure moving in from the north and Henri getting closer together where the pressure gradient kicks in, which is the bigger story. By late Monday into Tuesday, keep an eye on the winds off the NC/VA coast. 30-40 mph winds are possible, but this is a gradient wind and thus strong small craft advisories and possibly a few gale force gusts. But that's about the worse this thing will bring to the southern mid atlantic coast. In addition waves and rip currents!!!
