This now looks like a borderline cat 2/3 hurricane at the present time.

NHC was likely too low with their intensity of 80KT. They should have raised it some since when they came up with 80KT at 0Z, the system continued to intensify

But the northern leewards should not see the hurricane force winds and even not see too the tropical storm force winds if the latest NHC track is correct.

We have basically one thing to go on with intensity ..

Dvorak Estimates ... and no visible imagery ... and the intensity was set higher than the 00z tropical model initialization.
