JB still honking his horn on Henri
SUNDAY 8:30 PM The eurga is in and is insisting that hybrid Henri moves to near Hatteras Tuesday, then east northeast to about 36 north and 73 west Friday, then turns northwest and into New York or New jersey after that. This is two runs in a row of a trap. Such a path would mean the ETA 5 inch rain amounts on the outer banks tomorrow and Tuesday along with gales are a indeed possible. It also means a beach battering storm all the way to the Jersey coast later in the week, and though southern New england coastal areas would get gales, its further south and west bigger and significant tidal flooding would occur. The North carolina outer banks and Virginia stand to get the worse

Sorry folks....in spite of Mr. Bastardi's hype, Henri is not making a comeback. It will be a slow mover for a few days, but should keep moving ENE away from the eastern seaboard. The only threat will be some gradient related winds for the coast, but unless things change, I don't see that as a major threat yet.
