T number now 7.0 very close to cat 5 21.3n-54.0w

150-155 mph now and at 11 AM it will be reflected.

Here is the chart of the T numbers and look where 7.0 is in terms of the winds.

Wow, and look at the IR to see the symmetry in the cold cloud tops around the eye.

I bet you $$$ that it was a Cat 5 last night... Now will they wait untill recon tomorrow to bump it up to cat 5 ?

I would like to see recon go today to confirm if Isabel is cat 5 or not but they will go tommorow and all is based on sat estimates.

Good day to get a new desktop background/wallpaper! With her so strong ..maybe she will push her weight around and not care about the surrounding conditions. I want the ~30% model improvement MW mentioned the RECON could provide!! Patience......

I am beginning to think my guess of 150 MPH max winds for Isabel was too low. I was hoping it was too high! :o

Tense moments for us Floridians continuing as we watch that monster.. Newest forecast on my "Tracking the Eye" Software still would have her making a bee line for South Florida or South Central Florida if you follow the path with your fingers..

Ah the tension..
