Northward Element in current movement

#1 Postby Tommedic » Thu Sep 11, 2003 10:04 am

I noticed in this latest advisory that Lat went from 21.1 to 21.5. If Isabel adds more northward component above Florida is my bet. Any comments? Am I wrong in my observation.

Until we see a trend of movement over time this just may be a wobble. With the ridge to the north it may just bump along it for a few days. Only time will tell ;-)

How far west did she go in the same time frame? I think she will be wobbling or stairstepping. Not a true west movement.

At this point I am not sure what I want other than for Isabel not to visit the Se coast as a cat 4 or 5. A 3 is bad enough and would accept her only being a 1 or 2 (not reasaonable). But truly wish she could be a fish. Pretty to look at but have to throw back.:)
