Recon data and models question

Hi,

Has recon data every really swayed the way models were trending or just tighten them up?

The GIV bird (high altitude) does a lot of good in providing very accurate data for the models. The mission of the GIV is to define the atmospheric conditions around and along the path of a tropical system.
