By the way, here's another nice web page that most of you will find interesting -

It shows the locations, names and years of all U.S. landfalling hurricanes since 1950. I'm sure there's probably another site out there somewhere that shows from 1800's to the present but I haven't found it yet. This site (
http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/img/climate/severeweather/2hur9996.gif has several different images covering the last 100 years, but in 20 year increments.
