Latest satellite loop shows a pure westward motion and a reintensification phase. Her inner eyewall isn't complete yet but it should finish soon.
Looks like the next advisory might be down to 155 or 150 however I think she has a slight chance (50%) of becoming a 5 again.
I'm going to be watching the T numbers like a hawk...

Still very powerful indeed...
The eye still looks very well defined. However looking at the outflow north of the circulation is not as defined as it was. The air needs to evacuate out more in order to cause reaction to intensity. Isabel stil could become a cat 5 for the second time, that's if the outflow improves more so than it is now. Still a very healthy and dangerous hurricane!!!
Oncea again as I was alluding to, Isabel is one of 5 cat 5 hurricanes, which have lasted longer than 30 hours time. Hurricane Dog in 1950 lasted 60 hours time as category 5, which is unheard of!! Hurricane Allen was a cat 5 not once, but 3 times in it's lifetime with a minimum central pressure of 899 mb and max winds of 190 mph. So obviously Isabel is ranking up there in the history books when it comes to duration time cat 5s can last!!! Quite impressive and fascinating as well!!!
