Dude, I know what the models are indicating, but for the life of me...cannot see Isabel turning that sharply.

A turn to the NW and eventually north I can see...but a gradual, rolling turn as the 1938 New England hurricane and hurricane Hugo did....which would bring landfall to the coastline of Georgia or the Carolinas (Savannah to Wilmington).

It's going to be very interesting to watch how things play out the next few days....that is for certain.

I totaly agree. I was just listening to the outlook and they were saying cape hatteras would probably be get hit because it sticks out the most. But in any case monday of next week should be monitored in case of eastcoast landfall IMHO.
