Steve lyons just said today it looks like a N/C hit.

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

I was watching the tropical outlook on saturday morning when steve lyons came on saying that N/C may be get the direct hit of Isabel. But in any case its not far from Virginia Beach where my mom & brother lives. I'm further inland but I'm sure the effects of Isabel will be felt I'm sure. Until next week.

I said that earlier this morning here but many jumped on me and all who are experts say that Florida are clear but even the pros are not perfect.

Luis - per the models and forecasts, Florida looks LESS LIKELY to feel the affects of Isabel. You may have jumped the gun alittle bit, but don't beat yourself up.

We still need to see when she does make that turn to be certain.

Will share some advice. IF...repeat IF, Virginia institutes evacs and opens evac routes, tell them to leave immediately. Tidewater can't evac in less than 30 hours. Tunnels, bridges, Interstates, it is a huge mess. After the log jam...1 Interstate and 2 slow poke 2-lane roads west from RIC is all you get.
