Isabel's eye

Looks pretty well formed again. What are the implications for regaining some of her previous strength?

The new NHC forecast discussion talks of the new eye and possible strengthening for today, and that the northern outflow from the storm is sinking and becoming part of the High to her north!

they also state the east to west orientation of the low will cause it to pull north faster allowing a ridge to build accross florida and into the atlantic!

Then next couple of days are when this girl's true colors are going to come out!

often gain strength. His prediction was Isabel would strengthen some and that the eastcoast N/C would most likely get hit as well as inland. And he also said noone should consider themselves out of the woods until this hurricane passes by he even mentioned florida and georgia. This was 10:50am........All I can say is be prepared.....

I can say from family reports is some people in North Carolina are starting to take an intrest in what's going on out there...seems many are starting to do their preliminary action plans and stores are starting to stock up on hurricane supplies. Also the the emergancy management and and military bases are keeping a close eye out for what's going on. When the military does start moving all their aircraft..they people start moving down there cause they know it's looking serious. While they haven't quite done that yet it seems that they are starting to make plans for the 'move the aircraft boom'
