i know everyone is focused on Isa and i am too!

but here is an interesting disc about the cv wave !! soon to be juan??

"tropical wave W of the Cape Verde along 27w/28w south of 18n
moving west 15-20 kt. Satellite imagery indicates the wave is
becoming better organized with a low level circulation now
evident near 8.5n. There is also some evidence of banding to
the west with scattered moderate convection within 30 nm either
side of line 6n30w 9n30w 11n26w. The mid/upper level environment
appears favorable with a building ridge between 25w-40w. "

Hummm that is very interesting very low latitud where warmer waters are still because Fabian and Isabel formed more to the north.

generally indicates gradual development with Juan near 14-15N and 50W in about 5-6 days. Also, ridging builds in behind Isabel which should alow for a general w-wnw track.
