Judging by the last few IR Floater images, It's pretty obvious that Isabel's Cat5 days are over.

Even though some cold cloud tops are trying to make a comeback, the western side is looking dry and the eye's getting ragged.

It's a pitty it's going to make landfall as if were a fish we could surely enjoy the beauty of Isabel more.

Yep, Hopefully Mr. Shear does a number on Isabel in the coming days. The discussion mentions possible 30-40kts of shear.. that will do some damage to the structure alrighty.

My Local Met (to be taken with the grain of salt of course!) stated that Isabel is forecasted to be a CAT4 at landfall.

Gulf Stream and warm Water say that it want weaken that much .

On the NPR news this morning, it was said that she's expected to make landfall as a Cat 3 between NC and NJ.

I just dont see it but only time will tell.
