Ok, let's hear it.

And in regards to the congressmen heading out, at least these guys have a reason. Can't say the same for the ones here in TX. :roll:

I was a 7th grader at Parkway Middle School... {if you do the math.. I'm a college guy now lol}

It is shortly after 6:30 am... I am getting ready to ride my bike to school.. not knowing the monster lurking outside... {Josephine was a borderline cane yet school was not canceled}

Both mom and dad offered to drive me.. but I refused.. so I take off riding.. I stop at a local news stand to get the paper cause I needed 1 for history class.. There are at least 50 mph winds but no rain...

Instead of taking the short cut to PMS.. I take the longer road.. BIG MISTAKE.. One of Josephine's rain bands comes... {I am not even wearing a jacket} so my clothes feel like they weigh 1,000 pounds when I finally arrive at school...

As I ride down the road... I get blown off my bike and land on the pavement {no injuries}... I then continue riding and arrive at PMS... when I finally arrive.. Josephines' winds force me to nearly crash again but I stay controlled.. I finally park my bike... and all my teachers actually wanna send me home cause I'm such a mess.. but I survive with my 1,000 pound clothes and have quite a story...

"Josephine 96" was my favorite storm :)
