Thanks for update Derek. IMO - I think the intensity might be a little lower initially, come up some, and then decrease to Cat 2 just prior to landfall.

Derek,
I think the weakening of Isabel is a trend.I said 100-110 at landfall.I might be high.
We'll see. :D

at the rate we're going, we may not even get a cat 2 at landfall. There is a chance that this will be a cat 1 when it hits

When Isabel was still a cat. 5 I had forecasted only a cat. 2 at landfall, everyone said cat3/4 but looks like I will be right! She won't be any worse than Hurricane Lili but the news is acting like another Andrew is about to hit.
