5 p.m. Isabel forecast

not that there are watches, these are done every 6 hours, instead of the usual 12

have abandoned the weakening until landfall and are now going as an intensifying storm

Thanks Derek, but I think Isabel will get above 100 KTS before weakening some just before landfall.

As I have posted 3 times already the weakening is ovcer and she will be build back to AT LEAST a moderate 3. You are behind the curve here derek...

Weak cat-3: 115 mph
Moderate cat-3: 120-125 mph
Strong cat-3: 130 mph

DT says moderate....I say strong...either way it will be destructive :o

DT,

I do not start forecasting until about midnight. However, the trend captured by Cangialosi was correct for an intensifying system. However, the intensification tonight was not expected by us
