But still if you look at the sat pic you can see the strong shear from SW to NE and that shear is produced by an upper low in the area and until that feature goes away the wave wont have a chance to organize but we have to watch it because that ULL will eventually get out of the way in coming days and conditions will be more favorable.

Got our eyes on it Cyclone - would be nice to have a few more days not glued to the computer though!

I agree the Shear is wicked as already posted from others. The Caribbean looks favorable if a wave can survive the trip. I would be surprised if something popped in the next week. We will have Juan eventually.

That shear will drop off as the trough is losing its identity. High building in from the north. NOGAPS most emphatic about it. Others hinting. We'll see.

What is your opinion of the wave that is in the middle of emerging from Africa.
Could this be a candidate for development later on down the road.

Hummm wave to emerge africa after mid september is past the peak of the CV season but you never know if it gets ideal conditions down the road. so let's see what happens.
