Winds are notably gusty this morning and air feels a tiny bit warmer/moister than earlier...but what the heck to I know. My dog is also acting VERY strange this morning...hiding under covers, ears down...she knows something is about to happen, but it could be all of our pre-storm prep too.

Both my little poochies are hiding in thier beds too, and bird crouched down in a corner. They can tell something is up.

Strange that you mention your pets. My Sister-in-Law called me this morning and said that starting last night her dog is keeping right under her feet. Normally when they go outside she said he runs wild, but today he headed to the back door of the house and wanted to go back inside. My neighbors two dogs were let out and they ran to the yard to do their thing and I watched them both run back to the deck and to the back door to go back in. They love being outside...strange behaviors all around. Also, my neighbors horses keep pacing back and forth at the gate of their fence right at the stall. It's like they want to get into the stall. Animals do have good instincts though!

Dogs can be pretty good at sensing changes. Mine seems to want to stay real close when weather is afoot...even if it's still a ways off.
