Bay of Campeche

There is a large area of convection in the Bay of Campeche moving north. Weather buoy Station 42055
NDBC in the area is reporting a pressure of 1011mb.

The moisture down there is headed N toward the TX Coast. If nothing else some enhanced tropical moisture later this week for the NW GOM.

Probably nothing of significance, but bears watching nonetheless due to location, time of year, and probably some of the most favorable environment this basin has to offer this season.

That area of weather is bookin' it Northward though.

Moved over Baton Rouge this morning. Received almost 2 inches of rain. More than we have had in over a month.
