You can keep an eye on things inland today with a couple links from WREL (we really do more than just model maps  )

Current conditions and regional web cams are here: http://www.wrel.com/wx.htm
(we have WeatherFlash whis is supposed to be real-time...6 second updates but we're working on the problem now...link is on the page)problem).

Our primary weather page with WWS, local radar, sat and audio updates and links regional river and stream flow:
http://www.wrel.com/weather.htm

Inland VA mesomap (beta). Temp display now will do wind or precip totals later:
http://wrel.com/root/mesomap.jpg

Our news station goes wall-to-wall either at noon or 3 depending on wx so I probably won't be here till later. BTW.... think DT will do a sement with us today if he's now blown away in RIC.

Enjoy the links.

thanks for the links scott. What are you seeing now? In Charlottesville, it is more windy then i figured it would be, gusts probably up to 15 @ least. Looks like it could get interesting later in the day... Hopefully they will cancel classes.

Good to hear from you, Scott. I, for one, will be listening if at all possible. Sincce I'm supposedly productively at work, it might be difficult until this evening. Wishing you and everyone well. It looks as if things are getting rough along theNC coast. Thinking of you all from FL. Lynn
