Power on and off...

#1 Postby ncweatherwizard » Thu Sep 18, 2003 6:44 am

I will try to go as long as I can today, and after I get the morning work done, I'll try to update as much as I can, given some power to work with. Winds have not yet reaches tropical storm force but they soon probably will, (There is a poor hummingbird outside looking for food at the feeders that are in; that bird is supposed to be gone by now!)

I'll probably just post my morning forecasts and updates throughout the day to this thing, so I don't have to keep taking up space. :)

Really short, simple forecast. May be my last forecast for this; I may get one after the storm makes landfall. Power still holding up but sporadically, but at least I have an extra three hours with the laptop, so I may have to use my battery wisely.

8:33AM: Wind gust up to 39mph, equivocating to tropical storm force. Nothing more than a bunch of leaves floating around of course--some are sticking to the windows creating an interesting views outside.
