ENTIRE ATL. BASIN LOOKS VERY..........

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

The ULL is very massive and should keep TC formation down within the convection pictured here. But, as it progresses westward it could allow the 1009mb low to lift NW and develop later. An area to watch for sure.

if i were really going, i would be more than happy to take a few folks with me.

i just get so tired of seeing all this destruction (even though I eagerly track these storms like the rest of us) and then hear the hardcore cynics go off about who deserves what and how crappy this forecaster is or how they went overboard or didnt say enough.

Good grief!

A broad area of low pressure associated with a tropical wave is
located about 550 miles east of the lesser antilles. Upper-level
winds are currently unfavorable for development.Elsewhere. Tropical storm formation is not expected through
Saturday.Forecaster franklin

That wave needs to be watched but nothing imminent.

From this image you can see that the Cape Verde Season isn't redy to say Goodnight yet.

The Tropical Wave that the NHC is watching.

The Tropical wave around the Cape Verde Islands.

The Tropical Wave that will emerge from AFrica in 2-3 days (low latitude)
