He said he is keeping an eye on a swirl In the NE GOM. Conditions right now aren't favorable but in a couple of days they may be. He said he will watch it carefully. :o I AM NOT saying anything will form :lol: :lol: just wanted to update everyone :wink:

A logical area to watch in the month of September. Surface lows over very warm water with lower shear could develop a tropical low.

We will see what happens in the coming hours and days with the activity in this region.

Tom- I'll be watching the potential development and for what I like to call the "sling shot effect"... Which is when a system gets picked up by a front and slinged into Florida..

Actually I heard former Channel 6 met Pamela Brady use the term once lol.. That's where I got it from..
