Glad to hear that you ARE ok! Amazing how far north her winds reached. I remember when fran came thru raleigh! IT WAS CRAZY! Hoping they get that tree of the lines so that things can get back to normal. Is the tree his or the power companies responsiblity? JW...peace!

HELEN!!!! SO GLAD TO KNOW YOU ARE OK!!! Why don't you just go down the street and whip that neighbor(?) into shape!!!! I feel for you! I still remember Alicia and her aftermath(7 days no power in August!) like it was yesterday.

The last time I went so long without power was December 23-29, 1998.. because of an ice storm. I actually enjoyed that :) My family was without power for 6 days this time, but my girlfriend's parents, who live in the same county (New Kent, VA), aren't expected to have their power until October 14th or so.. glad they have a generator! It will be interesting to visit home this weekend :o
