Well against my predictions TS Larry has formed in the GOM. He wont move much the next few days and Im not yet in a position to say where he may go. A slow drift westward is possible..unless the next cold front dips down far enough to pick it it and take it NE and hopefully shear it apart at the same time. Meanwhile Kate is making a comeback and no doubt making residents of Nova Scotia and Newfoundland nervous. She is moving WSW over somewhat warmer waters and will likely intensify some more before she runs into a higher shear area..and then turns more to the NW toward the Maritimes. I strongly urge resudents of Nova Scotia and Newfoundland to monitor the progress of Kate.
