Hurricane season going into overtime..?

#1 Postby Josephine96 » Sun Oct 19, 2003 1:07 pm

I know it's way too early to think this may happen.. but with how busy it would be it wouldn't surprise me.

I'm talking about if December 1st comes and we still have a system in the Atlantic/Gulf/Caribbean somewhere.

I know a few years back we had a storm in the Northern Atlantic that didn't die out till like 12/5 or something like that.

Just a thought out of curiosity...

I know what storm you're referring to John, It was Olga. In 2001 Olga didn't perish until 12/04. I don't think we see a December storm this year, but who knows...

on Christmas eve Puerto Rico was under a hurricane watch. Very strange indeed, but if I recall correctly, people were not too concerned, as everyone was busy with the festivities.
