There is a bit of complex setup in the ATL right now. The front your talking about is lifting NE and weakening with High Pressure building in its wake. The system that everyone is watching may slip SW and get trapped by the building High to the East and pushed Westward. There are a lot of "buts" and "ifs" involved of course. We don't even know if the system will develop or be sheared as it is looking now. It may be a Tropical or Sub-tropical Low or just a open Low Pressure disturbance. This scenario is unusual this time of year but not unprecedented. We shall have to see. :bidea:

The posts or stuff said are NOT an official forecast and my opinion alone. Please look to the NHC and NWS for official forecasts and products.

Model Runs Cheat Sheet:
GFS (5:30 AM/PM, 11:30 AM/PM)
HWRF, GFDL, UKMET, NAVGEM (6:30-8:00 AM/PM, 12:30-2:00 AM/PM)
ECMWF (1:45 AM/PM)
TCVN is a weighted averaged

Opinions my own.

Yes indeed, this is not a cold front pushing eastward toward the activity in the Atlantic. The front is moving more northerly as was mentioned, with the high building in creating any thing to the east of the southeastern United States westward. We shall see.....
