Does not look to have reformed. The latest sat images are form Oct 27, not from today. Nick has not come back and anything future would probably be called Olette as the center of Nick has merged with another larger system, making the system no longer truly Nick

Derek, then why is it posted on the NRL site as 19L Nicholas? It was just posted within the past hour.

it's merely the old Nick sector. Advisories would alreayd be out now had this been officially called Nick again (they now come out at 10 p.m. due to the time change)

It's going to be a couple days before we see significant development. Btw, the tropical models won't handle some of the baroclinic features very well...globals should be more accurate.

The system is slowly coming along. Although as Derek stated, if the system gets to named status - it will be Odette.
