Not exactly, the lowest height anomaly lies well SE of the Florida Coast ... remember, the strongest weather is well north of the system (in this case, NW of the actual lowest height anomaly.

Yeah - I know --- that's why I put "land fall" in quotes - at the heights portrayed the deep blues are coming on shore..... :lol:

I must add..... the winds are picking up here alot.........

I am getting gusts up near 20 mph on the coast -- Cocoa/Cape.......

The speed of the system at 20 to 25 mph and it being 100 miles east of Fort Lauderdale, Florida as of 10:30pm EST, (according to the Tropical Weather Outlook). That would put the center near or over Fort Lauderdale between 2:30am and 3:30am EST.

Winds 10-15mph out of the east with very light rains in Palm Beach. I live a block from the ocean here and it really hasn't seemed like any kind of event at all as of yet. I'll be up til 3am so I'll follow up with more info if we get any drastic changes up here, maybe the worst is yet to come.
