When Will the Next Major Strength Cyclone Form Globally, and What Basin Will it Be In?
In light of this mind-boggling, global major-strength cyclone formation drought since late September and with none occurring in October, I'd figure this would be a good question to ask.

Unless explicitly stated, all info in my posts is based on my own opinions and observations. Tropical storms and hurricanes can be extremely dangerous. Do not think you can beat Mother Nature. Refer to an accredited weather research agency or meteorologist if you need to make serious decisions regarding an approaching storm.

PLEASE NOTE: With the exception of information from weather agencies that I may copy and paste here, my posts will NEVER be official, since I am NOT a meteorologist. They are solely my amateur opinion, and may or may not be accurate. Therefore, please DO NOT use them as official details, particularly when making important decisions. Thank you.

Form around November 15 & Peak around November 25, C5
WPAC
Probably like Nida 2009 or Haiyan 2013, hopefully missing land. Such an eerie quiet all across the board is bound to be broken in a big way, IMO.

While I still expect WPAC to pull a last big one before the year ends, I can't help but think if this year's cold ENSO regime is similar to 2011, the year that almost shut down the WPAC season too early if not for Tropical Storm Washi in Dec 2011. Nonetheless, WPAC had its last major typhoon back then in September.
