Unless explicitly stated, all info in my posts is based on my own opinions and observations. Tropical storms and hurricanes can be extremely dangerous. Do not think you can beat Mother Nature. Refer to an accredited weather research agency or meteorologist if you need to make serious decisions regarding an approaching storm.

My vote is on Lisa.
99L may become Julia, or at least it should. Then there are some hints of an MDR storm around 10/2-4 on ensembles. While some GEFS members have it as a hurricane lifting out from central MDR, I doubt that track can make it a major in October climo. Regardless, most members don't bring it into the Caribbean... Yet.
After that, my guess is we'll see more Caribbean action, so the major might come from that. I feel Ian didn't take full advantage of WCar due to its structural problems until just before its Cuba landfall.

Do not take anything I say seriously as a form of meteorological prediction. I am not a meteorologist; I don't think being in law school translates to any special knowledge. I am just a somewhat bullish amateur watcher.

Julia from the 0/30. Looks like a Lorenzo-like storm in the models.
