Central Tropical Atlantic Ocean:
Another tropical wave located about midway between the west coast
of Africa and the Lesser Antilles is producing disorganized showers
and thunderstorms. Some slow development is possible during the
next couple of days while the system moves west-northwestward. By
the end of the week, however, environmental conditions are expected
to become unfavorable for additional development.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent.
* Formation chance through 7 days...low...10 percent.

This disturbance does look pretty good this morning. I think this would be relevant in practically any other year. I fully expect the same centralized convection to be largely sheared or entirely gone 6-12 hours from now (let alone NHC's suggestion of even worsening upper-level conditions downstream).

Development of this system, if any, is expected to be slow to occur
over the next couple of days while it moves west-northwestward at

Here's the wave this morning it has 2 areas one to the north which did look promising earlier on and another to the south, looks like these are suffering from it been 2024
