When I saw the blob south of LA/MS this morning I sure didn't expect to hear crickets on this topic 8-)

The mesoscale model RGEM has a 1012 low, smashing into the Mobile area early tomorrow morning. No warnings out yet!
Joking aside, looks like the north central Gulf region may be getting locally heavy rain the next couple days
