This is not 1953's Tropical Storm #14 or 1998's Hurricane Nicole. Just because it is December and Jim Cantore is in Washington DC rather than Miami, and Jeff Morrow is in Boston rather than Key West, it does not mean Odette is nothing. Some are referring to it like a last minute Christmas gift. Yes, but it was almost a hurricane, and rains in Hispanola and Peurto Rico could be very, very deadly from the looks of the satellite images. Cycloneye, and others in Odette's path, what effects of this strong tropical storm are you feeling and do think it will get better or worse?

Well thankfully here in Puerto Rico we haven't recieved the amounts of rain that the NWS in San Juan projected because the conversion line of convection east of Odette has been weakening slowly and the bands have been less and I think that PR will not be affected more then what it already has recieved between 2-5 inches.But that will not be the same for the DR as they are being hammered.I am eagered to see information from there but I guess that it will wait until sunday to know what has happened thee.

Luis, I see another problem it is speeding up so how bad will the core be when it comes out, fast is good for Hispanola though.
