Will history be made for the second year in a row in april?
Nothing to be excited about at this time with the large area of clouds and thunderstorms in the central atlantic but model guidance GFS,CMC,NOGAPS show a low pressure developing in the atlantic suggesting a warm core system will form however they may be overdone with that. But it is too soon to say with authoritie that this system will be the second tropical storm in april ever 2 years in a row.Even if this is classified as a sub-tropical system it will be a very important event. But it may happen that this system will not be neither a TS or a sub-tropical but a gale center however it will be interesting to see how the model guidance do in their next runs but whatever happens here it is a warmup for the 2004 season.
