FYI...Site Upgrade...Comments Needed

#1 Postby MWatkins » Mon Apr 12, 2004 8:42 pm

Hey,

Just wanted to drop a note that I have somewhat revamped the (my) website:

http://www.tropicalupdate.com

Included are better nav menus, a more prominent link to this page (yeah) and small menu upgrades etc.

Over the next few weeks I'll be adding more enhanced original content and some other stuff but this is a start. Please let me kow if you have any suggestions/comments...this is not an ad for the site because...heck...most everyone here already knows about it. But I really need feedback to make this thing a better site.

Send comments to tropicalupdate@yahoo.com or post here.

Thanks again for everyones input over the last 5 years and I look forward to your comments....

Geez...thank you for the overwhelmingly positive response to the changes. I feel a lot better about the style of the site...now I need to work on the substance.

Special thanks to senorpepr for agreeing to let me link out to his update for non-Atlantic systems. I don't know how he does it...I barely have time for one basin.

I look forward to the upcoming season and discussing the issues with everyone here. The folks here at Storm2K have really done a great job of bringing this community together in a excellent venue.

Thanks Mike for the kind words. I often ask myself how I do it, but I figure something out. At least tracking other basin's storms keeps me on my toes and teaches me a bit about other regions.
