Unfortunately, these rains likely to cause major flooding on Hispaniola with lost of lives.

Seems to happen almost every year there. :(

A 40 - 45 mph tropical storm here in Florida for sure would not be rejected, rain is needed badly, and a tropical system is a rapid way to get it.

No rain expected for the next 7 to 10 days out according to the NWS. I would pay for a drop of rain right now.
