A weak tropical depression has developed in the eastern Pacific Ocean off the coast of Mexico. As of Saturday afternoon, Tropical Depression 2E was located several hundred miles southwest of Baja California with winds of 30 mph. The depression was moving to the west-northwest at 11 mph. Because of its predicted path over cooler waters, the depression is expected to weaken and then dissipate over the next 24 to 48 hours. It is no threat to land.
Accuweather now announces that a new tropical depression formed in the Eastern Pacific just a few hours after the NHC said it had dissipated. That will be like, "48 Hours After the Storm".
