Hmmm. Does this mean possible.......

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

surge of activity coming up early next week for this wave? This excerpt from the latest TWO:

A LARGE TROPICAL WAVE MIDWAY BETWEEN THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS AND THE
LESSER ANTILLES IS MOVING WESTWARD ABOUT 20 MPH. SHOWER ACTIVITY
WITH THIS WAVE REMAINS MINIMAL AND NO DEVELOPMENT IS EXPECTED OVER
THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.

I agree Dixie. It is an open ended statement of fact. The report says no development expected in the next couple of days. After that, all bets are off at this point in time.

Of course they're not saying it looks like it might develop after a couple of days. They're saying no development.

This is what 11:30 TWO says:

A TROPICAL WAVE LOCATED ABOUT 800 MILES EAST OF THE LESSER ANTILLES
IS MOVING WESTWARD ABOUT 15 TO 20 MPH. SHOWER ACTIVITY WITH THIS
WAVE REMAINS MINIMAL AND NO DEVELOPMENT IS ANTICIPATED
