The storm has some good rotation in it but since tonight it has lost alot of its convection. It also looks to be moving quickly off to the East to ESE.

as i said yesterday, it takes a few days if something is to happen in the gulf. Right now, upper level jet along northern gulf is like a mid latitude system, however any time a front in July of all times makes its way all the way down in the gom, with lower pressures, and then the trough moves out, leaving behind some convection things could change. Kinda like an upper level low making its way down to the surface, it doesn't happen overnight.
