New Atlantic Circulation?

#1 Postby CocoaBill » Mon Jul 19, 2004 11:02 pm

Is there a new circulation present in the blob at 8N 45W? It looks more "together" than the TW entering the islands......

These ITCZ waves will have to be monitored. As I briefly mentioned in my evening update, upper level winds are still generally favorable in the central Atlantic, and these waves will have to be watched once they get there. The wave we're all watching this evening may just be the frontrunner.
