Observations from the ABC islands and from Margarita in the coast of Venezuela indicate no west winds winds as they are from the east and pressures are relativly high so no LLC is in the wave at ths time.Open wave affected by the upper trough and the graveyard at eastern caribbean sea where it is rare to have a system forming.
No LLC,NO WEST WINDS at ABC islands nor at Margarita

There are no west winds at all the stations where the wave axis is passing today from Aruba to Margarita in northern Venezuela as I posted at my first post above.

Not true.
Over water, there is no daytime heating. That happens over land, which heats up with the sun rays hotter than the air above. Over water, the air actually heats up more than the surface, which stays at constant temp, and thats the reason flareups over tropical water normally occur at night when the air cools but the water stays with constant temperature creating a temp difference that makes air rise.

Well when they actually do start getting a westerly wind component it still may not mean explosive development. Plenty of time to start doing emergency planing, raising the limits on your property insurance and buying the oil futures. I understand weather forecasting can actually be quite lucrative if your timing is right. Of course the human tragedy and destruction that a storm can bring should not be overlooked either.
