I really think this wave has potential if it would just slow down a bit it could really crank up IMO.. None the less at least we have something to watch for a change! :eek:

Very true. However, this is something that has occurred many times over the past few years. We'll have a fast-moving tropical wave near the Windward Islands. We keep a close eye on it, it finally becomes a tropical depression, then quickly falls apart.

Personally, I'm not putting any money on this wave becoming Alex. It MIGHT make depression status, but nothing further. Of course, this is all subject to change depending on additional dry ary and/or a change in forward motion.
